As soon as I landed, I went straight to Japa Dog. Luckily and awesome-ly, the hot dog stand was right outside of my hotel!
OROSHI - bratwurst, grated radish, special soy and green onion
TERIMAYO - all beef, teriyaki sauce, Japanese mayonnaise, fried onion and seaweed
Regular all beef dog for Venise.
OKONOMI - fried cabbage, dried bonito flakes, kurobuta pork
My cousin, Emily, who lives in Vancouver took us to her local sushi place, Miku Restaurant.
Chicken Nanban - deep friend chicken with house made tartar sauce
Assorted Nigiri Sushi - scallop with sweet sauce, red tuna with masatake (onion/soy), mackarel with relish onion, shrimp with basil mayo, albacore with miso sauce, salmon with mustard, and hamachi with avacado sauce.
Aburi Salmon Oshi Sushi - pressed aburi sockeye salmon with MIKU sauce.
Crepe Suzette - two French crepes, soaked in hot, buttery orange sauce, served with vanilla ice cream
Lemon Mousse - fresh lemon zest scented white wine mouse, served on a white chocolate disk, paired with poached cinnamon apples and raspberry sauce
After dinner, we took a short walk back to the hotel and called it a day. :)
